Gold anodized for superior corrosion resistance to help keep them looking good for a long time. Choose from 2", 1.5", 1" or 1/2" rear lift amounts. Rear Shock Extenders are Recommended for 2" (also available from McBay Performance).

I would say pay to have it done, unless you are a gorilla you will not be able to muscle the rear end enough to complete this task while the car is sitting on jack stands,
